kitchen wall, mid-summer, before someone repainted it. of a page
left in garden sun for a year.
not yellow. yellow is a child's colour and citron is something older —
a tired yellow, a yellow with green at the edges, a yellow that has
thought about it. you find it in the dawn on a tired morning and in the
old plaster of any room that gets too much light.
