drawer · a small tin, half empty
green tin. silver lettering. you bought them in a cough that has long since stopped. the remaining lozenges have lost most of their bite and stick, slightly, to one another.
the tin is the size of an honest week of inconvenience. the inconvenience is now an old one.
field-note: the colour is sage and the smell is sage and they no longer particularly taste of sage.
