drawer · seven; one is opaque
glass, with cat's-eyes; one ordinary clay one, weightier than the rest, the colour of the inside of the drawer. it does not catch the light. the others do, briefly, when you move them.
they used to be a larger collection. that is not the same as saying they have been lost. the seven is the set that has stayed.
field-note: the clay one is older than any of the glass. it predates the drawer.
