— sunroom · 4:00

west-facing · only at this hour

the sunroom

afternoon, and afternoon only. between four and five the light comes in level with the floor and turns the rug to honey.

in the morning this room is no different from any other room. in the evening it is just a room with old windows. but for an hour at dusk's shoulder it remembers being a small garden.

the chair faces the light, then the light faces nothing, then it is tomorrow.
