strang & widow · haberdashers · est. 1879
ribbons unwound, just enough; never the whole length. strang's widow runs the shop and his name. she has not corrected the sign, though some of the customers ask. she likes the company of a name still hanging on a door.
she will sell you any quantity that ends in and a half. the buttons on the upper card are not for purchase. she keeps them because the cards came in pairs and the bone ones above belonged to her mother.
field-note: a pin is loose somewhere on the display. she will find it tomorrow by stepping on it.
