delivered the morning after the shop blind was lowered. it is unclear whether this was farewell or simple housekeeping — nyiri kept a stack of these by the workbench, and the retirement may have required clearing them out. either way the address has not changed, only the hours.

the engraving on the card runs six minutes ahead, the way the curtained clock does, though no one has ever explained how engraving runs at all. the brass disc outside the shop says the same thing more publicly.
